New CCTV A Priority At Parker Medical

The Parker Medical Complex on South Florida Avenue in Lakeland recently completed major renovations that included the installation and implementation of a new video surveillance. The clinic, which houses Lakeland Spine Center, Nite Owl Pediatrics and Trinity Medical, has common doorways and hallways. Because Nite Owl has extended hours into the late evening, security is a priority. Their surveillance camera system, which Mid Florida Audio/Video coordinated and installed, enables Parker Medical’s staff to monitor the entrance, exits, hallways and parking lot for personal and patient safety.

Their new multi-camera system includes very high-resolution cameras that allow for better detail at longer distances. The (IR) infrared lights surrounding each camera lens helps the camera to see better in lower light circumstances. The number of cameras and their angled views adequately cover each area where intruders might approach or vandalism may occur. Their new digital DVR supports triplex function allowing users to record, playback and view remotely – all simultaneously. The 500GB hard drive will archive recorded video for several days before rerecording. The user-friendly software makes searching the archives or viewing remotely easy and time effective. The customized system is a definite asset for staff and patient security.
